Nicaragua

Hey guys!

My family and a few others went to Nicaragua! We went to Granada! We had lots of fun and stayed for a few days. Here's the overview.

Friday
My parents pick me up from school in the middle of the day, we go home, change out of our uniforms, and drive over to our friends house, where a bus is waiting. The bus about two hours to the border, then it took us about an hour to have all of us be granted in and given our stamps. Then, we drove two hours to get to our house in Granada. We chilled for the rest of the day, then went to bed (of course).

Saturday
On Saturday, we went over to one of our friends house, which was really beautiful. It had a pool, and enough beds to sleep around twenty people. We hung out at their house for a while, and then my family took an awesome AMAZING walking tour by "Leo Tours Comunitarios". We went all over the city and learned a lot. Anyway, once we were done with that, we went back to our friends house, and had dinner. Then we went back to our house, and went to sleep.

Sunday
On Sunday, we made plans to meet up with some friends in a local market. We thought the market would be maybe a block long, but it was huge, and bustling with side alleys. Also, my brother's hat got snatched right off his head! A little kid came running and snatched his hat, then ran away as fast as he could. We didn't chase him though. After this, we went back to our rented house and relaxed.

Monday
We drove home. This day nothing really happened. When we got home we relaxed for an hour or two, then went to bed.

P.S. I'm really sorry I didn't post this last week it took me a little while to write and I had lots of stuff going on.

-See you next week, Sam

Evacuation!

Hey guys!

We were evacuated from school today!! There is a HUGE storm. 6th grade was in the middle of a math test. (In case you didn’t know, Most grades are have one class. I was on the last part of the last problem when my teacher, Mr. J, said, “I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, school’s been canceled“ Everyone was like “So whats the bad news?” and Mr. J. Said ”That was also the bad news.” It was kind of annoying because me, my brother, and a kid named Oliver were on the last question, and my teacher also said we would start the test over another day. Then every class in the middle school and high school came out into one small place. You’d it would be really crowded, but in reality, is was about 200 people in a 180 square feet place.  (Yeah. from 6th to 12th grade, my school only had about 200 people. That's about 33 people per-class, give or take a little.)

See you next time

P.S. I had no wifi, power, or water so i am posting this a few days later.

My Grandpa Came Down!

Hi guys!

My grandfather is visiting! Me and my brother Noah call him "Papa Dude". He's from the states, and lives in Tennessee. We went to go play mini golf in Tamarindo today! I lost (I got 20 penalty strokes). Now you see how bad I am at mini golf (ಥ﹏ಥ). Just now, as I am writing this, my grandfather came up to me... ...and gave me 6$ and my brother 10$! (I owed him four dollars). My mom is making me get off now.

See you next weekend- Sam
